With the break in the normal league fixtures it gives a chance for various England youth squads to get together.

England U20s play Romania in Telford on Friday night, Aidy Boothroyd, current manager of the team has included in his squad Josh Murphy (Norwich), Rolando Aarons (Newcastle) and exciting Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker (Jose Mourinho recently said if him and 2 others were not full internationals in their careers then he would be held accountable)

England U19s play Germany on Monday 8th September away.

England U18s take on Holland in Leigh on Wednesday 3rd September & again in Bury on Friday 5th September. With no UEFA or FIFA competitions for the U18 side, England will have a number of fixtures during the forthcoming campaign. The aforementioned Demitri Mitchell (Man Utd) is included in the squad as is Dominic Solanke (Chelsea - another of those mentioned by Mourinho) Everton have 3 representatives in the squad, Liverpool and Tottenham have 2 each. Also interestingly is defender/midfielder Taylor Moore, born in London but raised in France and currently with RC Lens.

England U17s recently finished second in a tournament with Italy, Portugal and the Czech Republic. They beat Italy 4-3, lost 2-1 to Portugal and drew 1-1 with the Czech Republic. Arsenal's Kaylen Hinds got 3 of England's goals. Included in that squad was Danny Collinge, formerly of MK Dons who moved to Stuttgart in the summer.
